Writing is a hobby of mine that I come back to every now and then. Lately more often than not just because I have the time to. I fear after these next couple years I won't have the time to be doing this anymore so I'm doing all I can while I can.
If you looked through my works and wondered why there's so much about love the only way I can put it is that it gives me inspiration. It's a wondrous feeling and emotion that can make you do great things, or equally terrible things. It holds so much influence, but only if you let it. Many people will go the lengths for it and many in turn simply don't. It's one of those things that allows you to just do things for just because. It's an equally frightening and majestic feeling, one I both love and hate.
I also know what you're thinking, why the pen name 'Riku?" I know it's normally a female's name depending on where you are but it's from the Kingdom Hearts series. The anti-hero Riku. I really enjoyed his character even with the bad English voice acting.

Aside of finding some kind of closure to past events I've decided there is only one thing left to do: look forward to the future. It's one thing that I've never done that is to look ahead. I've always put too much time and energy into other people so for once I'll put some time and energy into myself, whatever it is I want to to, and where ever it is I want to go. So it's time to write some suck stories I've always wanted to accomplish, learn some network and server engineering I've always been putting aside, and getting ready to depart from this current chapter in my life.

Well it's been a long year. Many things happened, too many. I'm surprised I did little to no writing while I was deployed. Although I did lose many entries I was going to put up here I guess it doesn't really matter anymore. Well, this following year starting from now will be a new adventure in my life. I wonder what will happen, well that's just up to the many blank pages in life I'll have to fill in on my own.
